Paris Photo Tutorials - 'Wall Door Salad'
Here I offer you a spontaneous discussion / analysis of a photo from both a technical and also a very human point of view. What I don't normally do is go into the nitty gritty of the settings used on the camara because for one thing I generally can't remember and can't be bothered finding out, and secondly, I firmly believe that great photos are made before the shutter button is pressed based on what is happening around the photographer at the time and how he reacts to it. All comments are very welcome.

Love the photo! You are so right about it being more interesting with the woman and pigeon in it. I like what you're doing with Google Earth taking us right to the scene. During my trip to Paris in 2008, I was on that basketball court side of the passage looking at the ancient wall. Who knew this fun little passage was just a stroll away!

Yes, I was back here the other day and remembered taking this photo quite clearly! I even waited for someone else to pass by - couldn't consider taking it any other way! And the historic wall on the other side is another interesting feature...
